WHAT IS KUNAFAH?
Kunafah (Arabic: كُنافة) is a traditional Palestinian dessert made with cheese pastry soaked in sweet, sugar-based syrup. It is pretty popular throughout the Arab world.
There are SO many types of kunafah, bases khashna and na’amah, filled with cheese or cream.
Khashna is a more coarse and crunchier base, and it’s my personal favourite.
Na’amah is a more softer base and is usually preferred by most.
Generally kunafah is filled with cheese, however sometimes cream is a more sweeter subtle tasting one.

If you have a sweet tooth, you must try the Nutella Kunafa, you’ll never want to have normal Kunafa ever again!

Apart from sweets, they also have a variety of coffee. Their Turkish coffee is an absolute delight and contains the perfect amount of coffee for a coffee lover like me. If you’re not a big fan of coffee, you must try their Arabic coffee. It is the second best thing if you can’t handle all the caffeine.
Overall, Knafati Cafe has a great ambience and super friendly staff. It is currently our favourite hang out place in Al Khuwair.
