Hit your 20’s and those pesky little things called pores slowly start to appear on your skin. With the amount of makeup we put on our skin, our pores made their grand entrance when we hit 23 a couple months ago.
Whether you keep it simple day to day or sport a full face of makeup, a good primer can be a godsend if you crave a smooth canvas. Depending on your need and choice of primer, they can help you combat shine, smooth texture, hydrates your skin or combats shine.
People, (yours truly included back then) often tend to leave out primer, not realising the benefits it brings along. Using a little pea sized amount of primer underneath your makeup will help your makeup last much longer and is definitely worth the investment.
MAYBELLINE BABY SKIN PRIMER and WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT
The Maybelline Website reads:
WHAT IT IS
Baby Skin® Instant Pore Eraser®. This makeup primer leaves skin with a baby smooth and matte finish. Moisturizes all day.
BENEFITS
This lightweight and breathable pore-blurring makeup primer leaves skin with a smooth matte finish. Non-comedogenic. Fragrance-free.
HOW TO USE/APPLY
Step 1. Apply a thin layer to skin. Step 2. Can be worn with or without a moisturizer.
OUR THOUGHTS
We love this primer. It is super lightweight, blurs pores in an instant and leaves skin super smooth.
It comes in a cute little squeezable tube which is easy to travel with. The actual product is a translucent gel with no pigmentation. It blends in smooth without leaving any traces and eases blending makeup over your now smooth canvas.
The Baby Skin Pore Eraser has a matte finish, however, we would recommend using this primer only targeted to your pores. We find that it does not necessarily make your makeup last longer or keeps the skin matte for a long day. We find using this as a pore eraser and another primer that is suitable for your skin to be used in conjunction to achieve best longevity and other desired results.
