Sitting in a limestone wadi (valley), Wadi Dayqah Dam was built to collect periodic rain fall and control water flow.

Operating since 2012, this stunning sight of construction is the highest in Oman by far, stretching out to 8km with a capacity of holding 100 million cubic metres of rain.

Here’s 3 reasons why you should have it on your list of places to visit in Oman.

The QUIET

Sure, Oman is quiet enough. However, to go somewhere where you can almost hear your own thoughts is just the dream in our busy day to day hustle.

The CALM

Make the most out of the pleasant weather while it lasts. Take in the coolness of the wind bouncing off those waters and the calm of the lush green park opposite.

The VIEW

The breath-taking colour of the sea in Oman is not a secret. A spectacular sunset over those waters is a definite goose bump moment.
